After a horrible incident when I was young,
I’ve found it very difficult to trust.

After I left my family, the Sextons took me in,
Helped me develop my technology ideas,
And generally helped me feel a little bit more at home.
But there was always a problem lurking in our interactions.

As someone with shifter blood and no ability to shift,
I found that my ability was to be forgetful.
Literally.
Apart from my family, everyone seems to forget me.

Then I met Dante.
He remembers me. He irritates me. His perfect physique is distracting.
And his alpha male energy should be a real turn-off.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem willing to leave me alone.

And the more time I spend with him, the more I crave being remembered, and the more I want to gaze into his stunning blue eyes.
