Running the Paces – Jason Hutchinson

With the limousine up and running and a handful of clients, Abe is starting to reap the rewards of striking out on his own. Thanks to a serendipitous encounter with local businesswoman and socialite, Candy Boutique, the upper crust of Rochester are knocking down his door and feeding the growth of his one-man business, Rochester Limousine. Entrepreneurship isn’t the only way Abe is stepping outside of his comfort zone.

Raised in a vastly different culture than the one he finds himself in, he’s been on a journey of self-exploration for years, trying to determine which beliefs are his and which deserve to stay in his past. A loner for years, his burgeoning relationship with the edgy hairstylist, Ariel, is testing some of those old beliefs, primarily concerning the concepts of fidelity and monogamy itself. She’s encouraged him to ‘sow his oats’ metaphorically, but is that really him?
